BLIZM is back and “Business Is Business”

BLIZM Fea. Lil Cash “Business is Business”

BLIZM returns to the music realm with a new release.

“Business Is Business” featuring Lil Cash hits the mark between a cut made for the streets and a track with real meaning.

The infectious baseline on the track produced by SVGAR Beats takes you back to a time when southern Hip-Hop had you “Riding Dirty” and bending the block looking for the next hustle. With additional help from DJ Dynamite stepping in to blend in cuts and samples, the production is refreshingly different.

Some collaborations are simply artists coming together to make a song they think people will enjoy and hopefully move the meter. But “Business Is Business” is different. Because there is a backstory to this collaboration that spans two cities, two decades and more than just the two artists named in the title.

More Than Just Music

“Business Is Business” means much more than the title may indicate. As usual, BLIZM has layered subject matter in his verse that goes from drug deals gone bad, to unjust cannabis laws and calling for reparations over slavery. Lil Cash steps in and reminds us that owning an LLC is the new goals, even if your first business endeavor was hustling crack in the 90’s.

Beyond this being the first time BLIZM and Lil Cash have worked together, another special moment is fused into the song. A four bar sample that is superbly chopped and cut in by DJ Dynamite features the voice of Grande, another artist from Panama City who recently passed away. The tragedy was the catalyst that spurred BLIZM to reach out to Lil Cash and make this eventual collaboration happen.

Grande’s sister Vyshon is also an artist, collaborator and friend of both BLIZM and Lil Cash. Vyshon has featured on several songs with BLIZM over the years, so the dedication to Grande on “Business Is Business” hits home on another level.
